Beautiful antique black jar where the powder puff was kept. On the box an image of a landscape and flowers.
The paper mache is different from the quality we know. In the 19th century even furniture and ceilings were made of papier maché, the recipe of how the paper was made then has unfortunately been lost.
The jar is in good condition, the image on the lid has faded, this clearly shows that the jar was used frequently in the past

Beautiful, sleek antique silver nail polisher. The bottom of this antique silver item is a piece of chamois leather. The nails were nicely polished with this. The silver is marked in Birmingham in 1915. In good condition, some traces of use
