This so-called Victorian Penny Lick glass was used at the end of 1800. For a penny ice was scooped into the glass and this customer could lick it up. The thick glass made it look like you were getting a big scoop of ice. When the ice was finished, the glass was returned and refilled without cleaning it. Ultimately, it was discontinued due to hygiene

This beautifully decorated antique gold-colored lorgnet is a feast for the eyes. It looked very elegant when the lady used this antique gold-colored lorgnet. If the lorgnet is not used, it can be closed. By pushing the button on the handle down, the glasses will open completely, this is still fully working.
The glasses have some traces of use, but this is not very visible. A nice item to display with, for example, a fan and a handkerchief.
