Beautiful antique crystal jar that was once part of a set of several jars that stood on the dressing table of the lady of the house. On the silver lid a beautiful monogram engraved in the silver that was hallmarked in 1917 in Birmingham. Some small dents in the lid
The ladies used to do a lot of needlework and then had a basket full of all kinds of things to do this. This is also the case with this measuring tape, which is incorporated in a celluloid basket with flowers. The ribbon no longer rolls up smoothly.
