This beautiful antique shapely rectangular box, probably served as packaging for chocolate or candies. Gold-coloured tin decorations are applied to the corners of the red velvet box, also on top of the lid a beautiful decoration in gold color with a ring to open the box. There is some wear on the corners of the red velvet. The box is otherwise in good condition.

A chocolate box? Unbelievable, but chocolate used to be an expensive delicacy and it was packaged very nicely! This beautiful antique light green velvet oblong example, served as packaging for Fry's chocolate. The box is beautifully decorated with gold-coloured art nouveau ornaments, handle and lock. The green velvet is in very good condition, some small worn spots on the corners are present but not disturbing. A small piece of the decoration at the handle has broken off, but this antique box is equally beautiful!
This beautiful antique beautifully shaped rectangular box served as packaging for Cadbury's chocolate. The olive green velvet box was a gift from a Mrs Harbuck to Lottie in 1899, this is written on the inside of the lid. The box is in good condition, the velvet is a bit worn in some places. Unfortunately the handle is missing, but this antique box is just as beautiful!
A unique item this vintage red cardboard Christmas packaging of Rowntree's chocolate. The paper with the Christmas scenes is a stone print, this can be seen by the very small dots that make up the images. On the inside a beautiful lace paper edge
About 11 cm long and about 25.5 cm in circumference
