Beautiful antique black paper marché jar, in which the powder puff was kept. On the lid of the box and on the box images of flowers
The papier-mâché is different than in the capacity that we know. In the 19th century, even furniture and ceilings were made of papier mache, the recipe of how the paper was made then has unfortunately been lost.
The jar is in good condition.

Beautiful sleek glass jar from 1927 with silver rim and silver lid. .A beautiful cut star shape at the bottom. A mirror is placed on the inside of the lid so that the lady can clearly see whether the powder was properly applied to her face.
